"The desert has been my office ever since I began exclusively selling Tucson's custom homesites in 1980. I'm proud to say that, after hundreds of sales that easily total over $150 million - that's a lot of lots! - I STILL have never shown a house! I enjoy the challenge of finding that one, perfect lot that awaits your dream home. I love to walk each site, all the while getting the "feel" of your likes and dislikes and helping you go through the process of visualizing what a site can do. Its a very exciting process - one that is very different from just simply buying an existing home. The opportunities and pitfalls are many but with over 20 years of experience I believe I can make it a very smooth, easy process. You need to understand the lot itself - slopes, views, soil conditions, elevations, site work and such other things as hydrology. You need to be up on the latest zoning changes and know about future development so that you can visualize, accurately, how your future home will fit in with those plans. I like to think that I understand all the options and issues and that I can help you make the right decision. Buyers who relocate have many questions, and it is my job to invest my time in answering them so that you do not waste yours." Sue Hill has lived in Tucson since 1972. Prior to entering the real estate business in 1980, she was a sports reporter for The Arizona Daily Star where she had a weekly column "Sue Wants To Know", worked the golf and tennis 'beats' and specialized in feature stories on all athletes. Sports writing to real estate?! "I needed a change," Sue laughs. Sue grew up in the construction industry; her father was a builder/architect and her mother was an interior designer (Bellevue, WA.). So real estate was not so far-fetched. Now, $150 million in land/lot sales later, Sue continues to love 'hiking' for a living! Sue is a longstanding member of the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee for the Tucson Association of Realtors, a position she continues to be appointed to by her real estate peers. She is also a member of the Nature Conservancy, and recognized by Real Trends, Inc., "The Best of the Biggest", and Who's Who in Residential Real Estate in North America. "Although I don't sell homes, I do LIVE in one! Realizing some people are not as fortunate, I celebrate each closing with a donation in your honor to Habitat For Humanity Tucson." |
